Collection care and advice

The Grimwade Centre provides collection care advice to clients on a variety of topics, ranging from specific preventive conservation advice, relative to their collections, to the purchase archival quality storage materials. We provide advice in preventative care, pest management and disaster planning. Our services include condition reports,  conservation surveys  and the development of conservation strategy management plans.

Clinic days for organisations can be arranged, whereby our conservators will examine clients' objects and provide advice on conservation issues, storage and display.

Please note that our staff do not provide valuations. For valuers, see the Government approved list of valuers for the Cultural Gifts Program www.arts.gov.au/tax_incentives/cgp.
